ਬੰਗਾ 3,ਜਨਵਰੀ (ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ) ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਬੰਗਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ 1ਕਿਲੋ 500 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਫੀਮ ਸਮੇਤ ਪਤੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਬੰਗਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਥਾਣਾ ਅਫਸਰ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮਹਿਤਾਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਈਪੀਐਸ ਜਿਲਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਐਸਪੀ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੀਪੀਐਸ ਸਬ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਬੰਗਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਅਧੀਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਾੜੇ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਛੇੜੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਿਤੀ 2, 2 2025 ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ  ਦੌਰਾਨੇ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਸਵਾਲਕ ਅਨਕਲੇਵ ਬੰਗਾ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਜਿੰਦਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਚੰਦ ਵਾਸੀ ਜੰਡਿਆਲਾ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਦਰ ਬੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਪਤਨੀ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਜਿੰਦਰ ਵਾਸੀ ਜੰਡਿਆਲਾ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਦਰ ਬੰਗਾ ਨੂੰ 1 ਕਿਲੋ 500ਗਰਾਮ ਅਫੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਗੱਡੀ ਨੰਬਰ ਪੀਬੀ 78ਏ 8407 ਮਾਰਕਾ ਵੈਨਿਊ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਜਿੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਮੁਕਦਮਾ ਨੰਬਰ 8 ਮਿਤੀ 2,2,25 ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਧਾਰਾ 18-61 ਐਨਡੀਪੀਐਸ ਐਕਟ 1985 ਥਾਣਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਬੰਗਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਐਸ ਐਚ ਓ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ

Police of Banga City Police Station of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district have arrested a husband and wife with 1 kg 500 grams of opium. Giving information, the SHO of Police Station City Banga, Manjit Kaur, said that under the instructions of Honorable SSP Mr. Mehtab Singh IPS District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and under the leadership of DSP Harjit Singh PPS Sub Division Banga, the campaign launched by them against bad elements and drugs achieved great success on 2, 2, 2025 when during a patrolling police party, Harjinder Singh alias Jinder, son of Gian Chand, resident of Jandiala, Police Station Sadar Banga, and Kulwinder Kaur, wife of Harjinder Singh alias Jinder, resident of Jandiala, Police Station Sadar Banga, were arrested along with 1 kg 500 grams of opium and vehicle number PB 78A 8407 brand Venue, on which a case number 8 dated 2,2,25 was registered against Harjinder Singh alias Jinder and Kulwinder Kaur under criminal section 18-61 NDPS Act 1985, Police Station City Banga. S H O Manjit Kaur said that after presenting the arrested accused honorable  court, further action will be taken as per the court orders.
