Banga City Police arrested a person with 47 orange-colored illegal pills. A case has been registered. Giving information about this, the SHO of Police Station City Banga Mr. Mohendra Singh said that Sub Inspector Virender Kumar along with his colleagues ASI Balbir Singh, ASI Mahinder Pal, Senior Constable Taranjit Singh and Punjab Home Guard Paramjit in a private car. When their police party was passing through Happowal road vegetable market and reached a little behind Happowal bridge when the time was around 1.20 in the afternoon, a young man from village Khatkar Khurd side was seen walking along the canal. Panicked to see police party, he took out a transparent envelope with his right hand from the right pocket of his pant and threw it on the grass beside the road. On checking the transparent envelope thrown by him, 47 unlabelled orange pills were recovered. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act 1985 by Sub Inspector Varinder Kumar after arresting the accused Anmol son of inderpal r/o ghandhi nagar Banga. Accused after being produced in the honorable court, the court has ordered him to sent him to judicial custody.
