ਰਿਚਮੰਡ, ਬੀ.ਸੀ./ਬੰਗਾ 16 ਸਤੰਬਰ : (ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ) ਸਾਲ 2013 ਤੋਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ-ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ 51000 ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦੇ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ 2024 ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿਚ ਪੁੱਜੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਹਾਣੀਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ । ਸ. ਬਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਬਾਨੀ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ 2024 ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦ ਅਸਲਮ (ਲਾਹੌਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ) ਦਾ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਿਹ ''ਜੰਗਲ ਰਾਖੇ ਜੱਗ ਦੇ'', ਜਿੰਦਰ (ਜਲੰਧਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਭਾਰਤ) ਦਾ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਿਹ ''ਸੇਫਟੀ ਕਿੱਟ'' ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਨੀਰ (ਜੰਮੂ, ਜੰਮੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ, ਭਾਰਤ) ਦਾ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਿਹ ''ਟੈਬੂ'' ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ । ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿਾਂ ਵਿਚੋ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ 25 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ 10-10 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਸਹਿਤ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਰਸਮ 14 ਨਵੰਬਰ, 2024 ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀ, ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਦੇ ਨੌਰਥਵਿਊ ਗੋਲਫ ਐਂਡ ਕੰਟਰੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਅਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ । ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਹਮੁਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਪੀਅੰਤਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ 6,000 ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ।
ਸ. ਬਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ “ਸਾਡਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਲਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਹੱਦਾਂ-ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਰਚਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ-ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ-ਭਾਸ਼ੀ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ । ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਂਝਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੁਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸ. ਢਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਮਾਣ-ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੌੰਸਲਾ ਅਫਜ਼ਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਲ 2024 ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ, ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ । ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਜੇਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਕੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਕਹਾਣੀਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼ੀਅਤਾਂ ਹਨ । ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਵਿੱਲਖਣ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ । ਸ. ਢਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ, ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਾਲ 2013 ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਅਮੀਰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਹੈ । ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਹੁਣ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੋਲੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਹੁ-ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਤਾਣੇ-ਬਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਧਾਗਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੁਬੈਰ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਲ 2024 ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਈਆਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ, ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ, ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਡਾਇਸਪੋਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੰਦੇਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ । ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੁਬੈਰ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਆਂ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ।

ਸ. ਬਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ “ਸਾਡਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਲਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਹੱਦਾਂ-ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਰਚਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ-ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ-ਭਾਸ਼ੀ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ । ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਂਝਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੁਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸ. ਢਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਮਾਣ-ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੌੰਸਲਾ ਅਫਜ਼ਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਲ 2024 ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ, ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ । ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਜੇਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਕੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਕਹਾਣੀਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼ੀਅਤਾਂ ਹਨ । ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਵਿੱਲਖਣ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ । ਸ. ਢਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ, ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਾਲ 2013 ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਅਮੀਰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਹੈ । ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਹੁਣ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੋਲੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਹੁ-ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਤਾਣੇ-ਬਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਧਾਗਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੁਬੈਰ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਲ 2024 ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਈਆਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ, ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ, ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਡਾਇਸਪੋਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੰਦੇਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ । ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੁਬੈਰ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਆਂ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ।
