Dr. Vivek Gumber, Head of the Medical Department at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan Kaleran, said that the life of a patient named Pyara Lal, 61 years old, who had only twenty percent pumping capacity due to heart failure, was saved after being kept in the ICU for five days and two days in the HDU ward and given standard treatment with the help of a ventilator (breathing machine). On this occasion, Dr. Vivek Gumber shared information with the media and said that the said patient Pyara Lal was brought to Dhahan Kaleran Hospital for treatment in a very bad condition. The patient's heart function was already low due to which the patient had suffered a heart attack and was having difficulty breathing. Dr. Sahib said that at the time of admission to the hospital, the patient was short of breath, had severe chest pain and the patient's blood pressure was not being recorded. The team of doctors immediately started inotropes with the help of an infusion pump to increase the blood pressure, a ventilator was installed for breathing. Under the leadership of Dr. Vivek Gumbar, the patient Pyara Lal was given good treatment and nursing care in the ICU for the first five days with the help of a ventilator, infusion pump and other modern medical devices, and then two days in a special HDU ward. After good treatment, the patient is completely healthy. On this occasion, the patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Vivek Gumbar, all the medical officers and nursing staff of Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan Kalera for saving the life of their patient Pyara Lal by giving good treatment. Dr. Vivek Gumbar said that the medical department at the hospital Dhahan-Kalera is equipped with modern ICU, ICCU, modern ventilators, automatic infusion pumps, cardiac monitors and other latest equipment, due to which patients with all kinds of serious conditions are getting good treatment here.
