ਬੰਗਾ, 16 ਸਤੰਬਰ (ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ): ਥਾਣਾ ਮੁਕੰਦਪੁਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਧੀਨ 20 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਅਤੇ 90 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ 1 ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ 2 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਐਸ.ਐਚ.ਓ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਥਾਣਾ ਮੁਕੰਦਪੁਰ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਮਹਿਤਾਬ ਸਿੰਘ (IPS), ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਸਬ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਬੰਗਾ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ 'ਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਬ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ 'ਚ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਵਾਈ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਅਪਰਾ ਰੋਡ ਮੁਕੰਦਪੁਰ 'ਤੇ 3 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਜੀਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਜਗਤਪੁਰ (ਥਾਣਾ ਮੁਕੰਦਪੁਰ), ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਪਤਨੀ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ਰਾਮ ਵਾਸੀ ਸਮਰਾੜੀ (ਥਾਣਾ ਫਲੋਰ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਉਰਫ਼ ਰੀਨਾ ਪਤਨੀ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਵਾਸੀ ਕਲਰਾਂ ਮੁਹੱਲਾ ਮਹਿੰਦੀਪੁਰ (ਥਾਣਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਨਵਾਂਸ਼ਹਿਰ) ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ।ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 20 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਅਤੇ 90 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਥਾਣਾ ਮੁਕੰਦਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਐਸ.ਐਚ.ਓ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਖਤ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਸੌਦਾਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਦਾਪੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਥਾਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਡਾਓ ਕੇਂਦਰ, ਨਵਾਂਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਰੀ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇਲਾਜ ਨ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਫੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।ਆਖ਼ਰ 'ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੌਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਲਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।

Under an ongoing anti-drug campaign, the Mukandpur police have arrested one man and two women with 20 grams of heroin and 90 intoxicating tablets.
Sharing details, SHO Mohinder Singh of Police Station Mukandpur, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, stated that as per the directions of Dr. Mehtab Singh (IPS), SSP of the district, and under the leadership of DSP Sub-Division Banga, Harjit Singh Randhawa, the police have been consistently running successful operations against drug traffickers.
He informed that a police team led by Sub-Inspector Kawal Krishan was patrolling the area when three individuals were intercepted at the Y-Point on Apra Road, Mukandpur. The accused have been identified as Gurjeet Singh alias Jeeta, son of Paramjit Singh, resident of Jagatpur (Police Station
Mukandpur)Jaswinder Kaur, wife of Balihaar Ram, resident of Samrari (Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar) Sarbjeet Kaur alias Reena, wife of Gurpreet Ram, resident of Kalra Mohalla, Mahindipur (Police Station City Nawanshahr)
From them, the police recovered 20 grams of heroin and 90 loose intoxicating tablets. A case has been registered against the accused at Police Station Mukandpur, and they have been presented before the Hon’ble court
